Academic affiliations :
Vanessa Nurock is a visiting associate researcher in philosophy at EPIDAPO from September 1, 2016. She is associate professor in Political Science and Ethics at Paris 8 University and member of the Research Team CRESPPA. Initially trained in philosophy and cognitive science, her research stands at the interface between ethics, politics and science. More specifically, her work deals with bioethics understood as two complementary issues-the biological constraints of our moral valuation, and our moral valuation of biology. Her books and articles address issues concerning bioethics, nanoethics, neuroethics, environmental and animal ethics, robots ethics, as well as ethics and politics of care and justice. She is also interested in issues dealing with moral development and education and regularly works with several museums as scientific curator or as scientific events organizer.
